The origins of Warrior Nun Areala in the fiery Viking ages are revealed in a four-issue miniseries. As a young Viking, Areala is raised by a father who is a mighty warrior and a woman who is a peace-loving Christian. When her father leaves to battle a werebeast, Areala must choose between fighting by his side, or obeying his orders to stay and protect her mother.
