What's worse than a regular murder? A majestic fancy dressing evil brillant genius that not only enjoys killing which he gets payed for he's made areas that are deticated to killing his targets. To him it's a game. He get's enjoyment out of people's physical pain from his deathtraps.

Like Arcade said in a quote.

"Y'see ladies, any fool can kill-I wanted to do it with style."

I don't like him. Never have, never will. They should have really let Shatterstar kill him in X-Force # 30.

Though I wouldn't give him any money. For an assassin of superheroes, he tends to not assassinate very many superheroes.

Though he is damn cool.

Until he has more of a following I don't think he'll make more appearnces. Personally I think it be cool if Arcade kills one of the X-Men which would make the X-Men fans hate him even more which would make for a long lasting bad blood feud between the evil murduring psychopath and the Mutant Super Hero team.

Arcade is awesome. He seemingly works alone, and yet sets up Murderworld in different locations with ridiculously elaborate traps and such. He never really accomplishes the task at hand, but I think to him, it is all just a game. It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play. He just loves to watch people squirm. I wonder what happened in his past to make him the way he is. He's like a crazy carnival barker/clown/vaudevillian actor. Very interesting character, IMO. He always has his targets guessing, and makes some really cool traps and devices. He also never gets caught because he always has contingency plans before the games start. The level of tech he uses is incredible. I think he could rival Stark or Spider-Man's brain power if he wasn't so crazy.

Discovering he had a talent for murder for him why let it go to waste by being a common murder. Overall his death traps seems like it may have inspired Jigsaw from Saw.
Gail Simone could make him a major threat that would accomplish something.
She already took the former laughable out of shape crook Catman made him in shape, and made him a huge credible threat. Add in making Mad Hatter a brillant evil genius that made Gotham PD is own personal army through mind controlling devices.

Any villain can be written well, and it's a crime villains with an eccentric, unique and clever style don't get bigger and better exposure. Hope to see more (and better) from Arcade in the future.
