    If All You Want is a Sword and Sorcery Fix 0

    In his editorial at the back of the comic, writer Roy Thomas claims that he doesn't actually like the sword and sorcery genre. He freely admits some might find this strange, given his name is almost inseparable from comic book sword-and-sorcery tales. As he goes on to elaborate we learn that what he's really railing against is the clichés of the genre, such as: Magical swords far more worthy of continued series than their owners... brainless barbarians who wouldn't have lasted ten seconds in bat...
