    The main story here, 'Eyeless in Asia' is another great adventure for Arak and company, as they face a storm upon the Black Sea, a fearsome Roc, and a perilous desert.But the real gem here is the backup story, a tale of Valda, the Iron Maiden called, 'They Came Upon A Midnight Fearful'. This Christmas story is beautifully illustrated. When Pip, the shamed son of Carolus Magnus presents his father with a Christ Mass tree, he considers it to be a pagan atrocity.
