I feel Momoa will make a good 90s/DCAU look for Aquaman, which is fine so long as his personality focuses more on his kingliness and his sense of responsibility to his people and to the world than on his emotional pain.

As long as he doesn't look like a barbarian king then I'm fine. My preference would be Ivan Reis' design for Aquaman.

Ivan Reis without the flare on the gloves. I love Aquaman, he's easily my favorite DC character. Not only his strength, combat skills, but also his modesty of a true leader. Lately though I've been wishing his attire was different colors. Orange and green is a weird color combo. I would much rather Aquaman have a bad ass dark colored armor like Orm. I would also like to see his torso armor lose its scale. It looks like an aquatic version of medieval armor and looks out of date.

Most likely these significant changes will never happen but I love Aquaman the same.

His DC Universe Online armor. I think it has a very regal look to it.

Definitively his current look is the best! Ivan Reis has made him look really handsome and hunky. I still don't get to look Momoa as Aquaman. I'd rather have someone else in the role.
