Smallvilles Oliver Queen is staring in a new live action T.V. series about Aquaman. They even have the full unaired pilot of it on the web. You have got to see it, it's awesome! Roomers has it that they're going to do the same thing for the Green Lantern?
Aquaman
Character » Aquaman appears in 4626 issues.
The son of an Atlantean queen and a lighthouse keeper from the town of Amnesty Bay, Arthur Curry would grow up to become the superhero Aquaman, and later take on his birthright as the King of Atlantis. He is a founding member of the Justice League and is among DC Comics' most recognized heroes.
Smallville starts Aquaman Series
It was supposed to happen before however the show was cancelled
Oh and this pilot was made before he appeared in smallville
That blows people should petition to put that back up. The pilot was great and if that was the beginning that just imagine what the rest of the series would be like. Even the smaller heroes should be able to get a movie or TV series. Batman, Superman, Wonder Women, Flash, the Hulk they got a chance.
He might not be the most popular of this generation, but there have got to be some of the older fans out there. He was popular enough to be the action figure the one large kid held in the Movie "Unaccompanied Miners", and he's good enough to be written about in here. Even the smaller heroes deserve some respect.
I believe that movie had Lewis Black in it, who I like, but no one really saw that. All that really means is one writer liked him. I have a hard time 'respecting' fictional characters. I either like them or don't.
Aquaman really doesn't have many fans anymore. That's how it goes. I dunno if you've seen Entourage but one of their biggest jokes is that they were making Aquaman the movie. It's a funny concept all by itself.

so green arrow is becoming Aquaman?
I watched the pilot and I thought it was good enough for TV, especially with loads of crap they have on these days.

I also liked it, however I gotta say that I understand why it wasn't made
Personally I like more tempest
Ya, I've seen Entourage and their spoof was really funny. And I do agree the Tempest is a cooler character, but the ocean is still a mysterious place and it would be cool to have a series like Aquaman were things would be based in and around the sea. Especially when they would be taking the Burmuta Triangle into the storyline. besides who else could they have based by the Ocean.

Namor lol
Da! Thats right. Completely skipped my mind. That would make for a great story line, but would he, Fen, or the Captain be popular enough to get people thinking about a series?
I have a Gl trailer set up in my blogs. Whey dis the smaller super heroes. Green Arrow is pretty cool and he's considered a small timer. All heroes got to start out somewhere.
I would still be nice to have them try to mare a Aquaman Series to see what it would be like. Smallville didn't start out big but they've gone through seven seasons.
My first one where I said,

Aquaman series based off of the Smallville appearance? Doesnt surprise me really that it didnt go far. Not bashing Aquaman, but I can see how his popularity isnt strong enough to hold a show over. Only Aquaman I found was neat was Justice League cartoon Aquaman, aside from his strong similarities in personality with Namor in it. But thats what I liked I suppose.
i think an aquaman cw show would be great idea it could start with arthur graduating high school (or college doesn't really matter) and then him decding to leave the surface world and claim the throne of atlantis taking with him some old atlatian armor his mum brought with her by accident when she ran away from atlantis leaving his cousin (on his dad side obviously) to take care of the light house in amnesty bay arthur goes down to atlantis only to fin himself being hated due to his blond hair he then instead of being brash and confessing his lineage joins the atlantian army and him and his squad work quickly up the ranks becoming the kings secret black ops squad they stage a cuop d'eat against the king and his son( ocean master) arthur reveals his linage to atlantis becoes king (this all being in the first 5 seasons) and then after a bit you can bring in mera and maybe even garth it ending in arthur becoming aquaman nit just the saviour of both the sea and land maybe even a bit of cheeky justice league action at the end. i think it could work and be a great show kind of like arrow and game of thrones combined
