I'd never read any DC before the New 52, and Aquaman is now one of my favourites, so I think that speaks for itself :)

Absolutely agreed. I was a big Aquaman fan before the New 52, and I'm loving the stories by Geoff Johns. Highly reccommended. Putting Aquaman in the kind of stories he's at home in: fantasys where he fights sea monsters (The Trench), and in adventure stories more so than superhero stories (The Others). Similar to Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, Arthur's not your tradtional superhero, but his stories are a ton of fun.

You need to be reading this comic. It is literally one of DC best comics. The art and writing is amazing.

The most recent issue was a bit disappointing, but other than that, it's been fantastic.

Same. Its a really greats series. I recently started getting it digitally, and it really stands out as an awesome first step into to Arthur's world. I didnt know much about Aquaman pre flashpoint but I love this book and have grown to dig the character. Plus the art is stellar.
