    And that's it for Emperor Aquaman of the Flashpoint period, one of the most bad@ss DC characters in a long time (along with regular Aquaman of course).

    This character is a villain, nearly completely unsympathetic and responsible for millions of deaths (portrayed in the "small" images due to the violent content) and eventually the total destruction of the planet, a completely opposite direction of where the character usually stands. Nevertheless Emperor Aquaman is a powerhouse and this thread is dedicated to the ridiculous amount of bad@ssery he brought during the time the DC Universe was turned to Flashpoint Universe.

    All hail KingEmperor Aquaman!

    @justthatkid: In the comic she manages to fight and hurt Wonder Woman a little before she goes down which is quite impressive. But during the Geo Force incident everything is a set up (she doesn't actually hurt anyone not even the supposed "assassin" which was acting according to Aquaman's plan)

    @justthatkid: There was not enough time. The movie is like what? 80 mins? Honestly the could make Flashpoint a two parter quite easily like the Dark Knight Returns. In that case the war between Amazons and Atlanteans could be more clearly established. But in the time they had I think they did good, although they changed some things.

    @justthatkid: Agreed.

    @batmannflash: Nah, not even close lol. It's just the feats and many of them are contained in other books also.

    Interesting thread. Not in the least a fan of Emperor Aquaman though. Not a fan of elseworlds/alternate times in general, really.

    @blackwind: Understandable. I really like them since they are meant to be radically different than the regular interpretations.

    Flashpoint is interesting (moreso than most of the other alternate reality stories) due to 2 reasons.

    a) It was actually the main DCU that turned to the Flashpoint universe replacing the previous one for a while

    b) It has become quite popular with the release of the animated feature and known to more people than the regular comic book fans.

    And in this universe Aquaman is one of the most important characters, so a respect thread seemed like a natural thing.

    Of course I prefer the regular version of Aquaman, that goes without saying.

    Cool.

    Though, are any of these feats applicable to regular pre-reboot Aquaman, because it was an alternate timeline, rather than an alternate universe?

    Flashpoint is a unique situation because during the time of the event, that was the main universe and not some alternate reality (like Ultimate universe in Marvel).

    The characters are basically the same as pre DCnU, same powers and whatnot with the only difference being that the JL never met due to Barry's actions.

    So technically all feats should be valid, since the power levels were supposed to be the same, but the personalities of the characters were changed.

    Ah cool. Thanks for the info, man.
