What ever's happening on that cover makes me think this will be a down grade...

DC Announces New Creative Team for AQUAMAN #20
@rich711: WRONG!! 1. Team 7 was written by Justin Jordon?!? Seriously, who the hell is Justin Jordon. And 2. Stormwatch was a mess from the start with their superhero team that was so "super secret and awesome" even Batman & Superman didnt know they existed. DC bought Wildstorm and now doesnt know what to do with it. John Ostrander could make a great book out of total nobodies, that's what great writers do.
Justin Jordon is new indie talent. Except DC won't green light a book off of a team of nobodies that aren't super popular, or acclaimed.
Team 7 had Deathstroke headlining. Stormwatch had the Wildstrom fans on their side.
I wouldn't go as far as to say "Talent" and as a fan of Wildstorm I take offense at that comment. DC's new Stormwatch sucked monkey nuts. I have unread copies on a shelf. UNREAD, that is so bad it go, I can even bring myself to read the last two. Every great book starts as a bunch of nobodies, a decent writer is what sells books.
Thankfully it's only one month as I've been loving his run on Aquaman.
The Others... reminds me of LOST.
Lol it does
I love The Others. I like these alternate teams the new 52 has set up prior/concurrent to the JL:
More of that please.
Wow I read that wrong totally and was about to have a fit thinking Johns was leaving another book. I suppose a fill in team for an issue is okay. Still, its just not Johns. I'll give it a try though.

I love Justin Jordon's work so far. And what was offensive? saying that Stormwatch had Wildstorm fans? Stormwatch is the only title that has Wildstorm characters left, it's a natural assumption.
I entirely disagree. A good story with good characters is what makes a book sell.
Hence; Saga will NEVER sell as well as Batman, even though SAGA is 100 times better than Batman. Why? Batman is FAR more popular.
The Others would sell like crap. Or slightly above average crap.

Ostrander is my favorite writer. Wish he could just write a Martian Manhunter monthly again
Was he really that good of a writer when he wrote for Martian Manhunter?
Yes would be my answer. I loved his run on Martian Manhunter. It was a seriously underrated comic.
Did anyone else find the title misleading here? It's not a "new creative team" if they're just filling in for one issue.
Aquaman sucks.
You suck.
Aquaman sucks.
