Born Arthur Curry to an American human father and an Atlantean mother of a royal family, Aquaman became the King of the Seven Seas and Ruler of Atlantis. He's one of the founding members of the Justice League and is among DC Comic's most recognized superheroes.

If there was an Aquaman Team book, about Aquaman's allies in Atlantis, which characters would you pick to be the main cast of it? (besides Aquaman and Mera)

GARTH

KALDUR (Jackson Hyde version from the comic, or Kaldur'ahm version from Young Justice cartoon?)

TULA

LORENA MARQUEZ

LAGOON BOY

KORYAK (Aquaman's son with an Inupiat woman)

ATLAN (Aquaman's wizard father in Peter David's run)

DOLPHIN

ARTHUR JR (AJ)

MARINA (Aquagirl, Aquaman's daughter in DCAU - Batman Beyond)

The Others or a team consisting of Kaldur, Garth, Lagoon Boy (as seen in the YJ, not in the comics) with Atlan as leader/mission control/emergency member and King Shark as an "extreme case "member.

I know that Kaldur (YJ) and Jackson Hyde (Comics) are very different (design, backstory, personality)

but are YJ Lagoon Boy and Comics Lagoon Boy different too?

@csguterres: Comics Lagoon boy was sometimes played for laughs. And he actually was created fro comic relief during Erik Larsen's infamously bad run on Aquaman. 
He was also very small in size. Think hobbit/Damian Wayne size, whereas YJ Lagoon Boy is a regular sized teen/Atlantean.
And his comics origin was to bad, but I don't remember specifics.
 
Overall YJ Lagoon Boy is a better more serious character.

@csguterres: Vulko will be the overall leader and backbone of the 'Aqua' team, while Garth is in command of The Others in battle and adventures underneath the ocean floor. Topo (8 legged Octopus), King Shark, Porm and other aquatic sea life will form their own group as part of a reinforcement/backup team for Garth and The Others; having Porm being the most wisest to lead the team. Dolphin also plays a role in this book, as she tries to hang onto her relationship with Garth which is falling apart due to the fact that she's worried about his abilities and strength to withstand the brute nature of the deep waters. The reason why Garth is teaming up with The Others? Well cause it's the rules that Aquaman can't be in it and because he asked Garth to command the team while he takes the responsibility to be the King of Atlantis. Garth and The Others are apart of an Atlantean army elite squad, first in command to protect the throne of Atlantis and the life of their rightful King.

A separate book with Arthur, Garth, and Kaldur exploring the fantasy elements of Aquaman lore would be grand.

This would be my team: Aquaman, Mera, Tempest, Jackson Hyde, Nuada, Lori Lemaris, Lagoon Boy, Iqula, Blubber, Arthur Jr, Tsunami.

@csguterres: I like the thought of Koryak in the outlaws but would want him in 52 List: Kaldur(Jackson Hyde),Lorena Marquez, Garth, Koryak (with the epic Narwhal tattoo), Lagoon boy (possibly younger best friend AJ, and last Dolphin.
