Aquaman has been left for dead in the middle of the desert! But how did the King of Atlantis find himself marooned in such a hellish environment? As Aquaman struggles to survive impossible odds, what extreme measures will he resort to in order to stay alive?

Aquaman falls right into the middle of the desert.

Twelve hours earlier, Arthur was at his house, staring at the rainy night across the window. Suddenly, his phone rings and Arthur answers. The caller is Commander Clay from the U.S. Navy. Although Arthur is confused at how did he get his number, Clay asks his help, saying that they found a mysterious artifact embedded in the Trench's cocoons. When the Navy pried it open, the device emitted a soundwave that broke every single piece of glass in the area. Now, the device won't stop emitting the sound. Clay asks Arthur's help and he agrees.

In the present, Aquaman takes off a long piece of metal that had been embedded into his leg. Then, he collapses into the ground.

SummaryAlthough the previous arc finished last month, it would appear all is not over yet. After scientists find an Atlantian relic in the roof of the old vessel discovered in the previous issue things go from bad to worse. What is the relic and what does it have to do with Aquaman’s heritage? Also... why is Aquaman stranded in the middle of a desert? Read this issue and find out! What I liked· The Geoff Johns Treatment: I like Geoff Johns’ writing for several reasons, but in particular I appreci...

Talk about the fish out in the dessert.... 0

Geoff Johns continues to bring life to a character that has been parodied and made fun of for so many years as Aquaman must face a challenge that in sounds more like a potential SNL sketch but still managed to keep it great while revealing new things related to atlantis. The issue starts in sonic video game fashion as our hero falls from the sky into an unknown desert. Pretty much knowing he is kinda screwed he grabs his trident as he recreates the scene from uncharted 3 and walks aimlessly. All ...
