    Earth’s waters have turned Mera into a rampaging psychotic who threatens to ruin Aquaman’s attack plans.

    The invaders of Atlantis struggle to deal with increased rebel activity, with the population slowly shifting against there invaders. As Aquaman and the invaders prepare to launch their assault the following day, the prison is attacked with the guards being defeated by Queen Mera in her search for Aquaman. In response to Mera blowing their cover, Aquaman orders the assault to be moved up.

    Aquaman then rushes to Meras aid, defeating the last of the remaining guards. However, after the battle he is attacked by Mera's hard water, as she blames him for the death of their child. Aquaman then enacts a plan to wear Mera down to reason with her. All the while the resistant battles the invaders forces, in their effort to reach the palace. Eventually the rebels succeed, killing the Jellyfish while defeating the enemy soldiers who surrender.

    As cheers of victory erupt over Atlantis, Aquaman dodges Mera who is impaled on debris, much to Aquaman's regret.
