Aquaman travels to Hawaii with Aqualad and Dolphin to discover the truth behind what happened to him and Charybdis's connections to the government.

Aquaman has set out to gain his own symbol; making a patchwork harpoon to replace his missing hand, he asks Vulko to create an improvised model to fit the additional features he wants added. Meanwhile, Porm, several dolphins and space dolphins are captured by Japanese fishermen for experimental purposes. Aquaman, having gotten his new prosthetic, sets off to confront Admiral Strom for his part in the battle with Charybdis, accompanied by Dolphin and Aqualad.

However, upon arriving, the trio is confronted by Hawaii's residential hero, Superboy who was summoned by Strom. Superboy then manages to get the better of Aquaman, forcing him to retreat from the base temporarily. However, he returns utilizing several blue whales to create a massive tidal wave; and having Dolphin and Aqualad to knock the air out of Superboy before sending him flying out of the water. Soon after, Superboy returns to try prevent the trio from going any further, only to be called off by Strom himself and is given a parting kiss on the cheek from Dolphin. Strom then informs Aquaman of Porm's captivity, before cryptically letting him knows he knows everything about him.

Recently, I've gone through the back issues of my dusty old long box I had stored and picked out some of the comics that were some of my all-time favorites reading; from the cover to the storyline, I pulled them out of the box, and this issue was one of which that caught my eyes. Apart from the other comics I pulled to read, I really wanted to write a review on this issue which is one of my favorite storylines from the Aquaman title on behalf of me being born and raised on the Islands of Hawaii....
