Aquaboy is the son of Korinda. When Korinda was only 20 years of age she had a affair with Aquaman, this was before he was married to Mera. Korinda died giving birth to her son Preston , but since Aquaman had become the high king of Atlantis and started a relationship with mera she chose to keep the pregnancy a secret. Preston was rescued by a pack of dolphins, where they took him to the peaceful shores of South Carolina. There he was raised by a fisherman named Preston James Poston IV. He was raised there until one day when Preston and his adoptive father where fishing of the coast . A tidal wave swept them into the deep blue. The intense currents killed Preston's adoptive father . Preston then realized his powers ,surviving the horrible tragedy went on to discover Atlantis where he took the name Aquaboy . He now fights Atlantian crime. He also joined the Justice League of Atlantis when he turned 15.
