I see Apocalypse getting a lot of trash on the Battles Board and it made me wonder - has he actually done anything noteworthy? I remember him being beast in the Animated Series, but that's about it.

He caused Age of Apocalypse to happen. That's a pretty big feat, in my book.

people talk about Apoc like hes the strongest thing ever but... when you really look at it thats not really the case Dracula beat him down once

That's very true. But, he must be quite powerful if he had the ability to rule the world, you know?? That's mostly where I was getting at since I haven't read much of anything with Apoc, just read info on him.

The biggest thing against Apocalypse for any of his high end showings he has a few weak showings as well and unlike Thanos or Darkseid he can't used Clones or Avatars as an excuses for them so he gets weighted down cause of them and plus it also has to do abit with Villain Decay as well.

Mongul is in the same boat as well. But despite that Mongul has been able to utterly beat down Superman, Wonder Woman, & Batman all at once, nearly take over the Sinestro Corps, and a few other high end feats in recent years. That's what Apocalypse needs to have happen for him. He needs a massive rebound to happen.

@Thorion88: I agree 100%. He should be able to do way more with Celestial Tech then what he's done. If Ultron can be a galactic threat so can he, if they ever use him right.

The X-Factor team & the Inhumans were hitting him with everything they had, Powers & Weapons and yet Apocalypse was still standing.

Apoc is a very powerful villain, that is written very badly.

He beat 6 X-men in under sixty seconds.

And as you all know he was able to restrain the hulk with Strength alone.

In addition to his powers provided by his suit, If written correctly, he's almost unstoppable.

I meant, he ruled and caused the destruction and what not. Wasn't really shooting for the specific "who caused it" but most people got my point.

Apocalypse with his power set alone should've been a HUGE threat. I hope that if/when he comes back he will be better written.

If Apocalypse was written better, i believe he could be on Thanos' level. I hope that writers will can make him that huge threat that he was before, or maybe even make him more powerful.

Agreed.... Apoc wrote right is just as powerful as thanos, and can be one of the most powerful in marvel but for reasons unknown, the writers do so bad on him that it is not fair! Have you read about his harbringer, who was able to take on thor, the avengers and cable and win? Or when apoc made a already raged hulk more powerful and able to take on juggernant and the absorbing man with ease?

The problem is that his ultimate goal is something that not allow any more stories to be done. Like Thanos, he can logically win pretty easily, so they need to come up with bogus ways to explain away his losses.

Honestly, what needs to be done is that they need to depower him, because he has too many freaking powers for a semi-regular villain and give him something to do that makes sense for giant gray skinned tyrant with a god complex.

Apocalypse might've caused AOA but if he tried that crap on Asgard or another realm or planet he'd get roflstomped

The worse part is that there is no sign of him lately. He gets no screen time to fight anybody and Secret Wars doesn't count
