    With Silver Surfer, Beta Ray Bill, Quasar, Gladiator and Ronan, is there any threat this team can't take on?  The Good I've been on the fence lately with the Marvel cosmic comics. While Annihilation was favored by many readers, something didn't quite sit right with me, despite my liking of the characters and the sci-fi setting.     This issue marks the beginning of the four issue mini of the newly formed Annihilators, fresh out of the Thanos Imperative. Fortunately for new readers, you need not have read that story arc, or any that come before it. This is a stand alone story. You get a briefing within the first few pages in the dialogue as to who the main characters are.     Annihilators comes to us with twice the cosmic story for nearly twice the price but reads like less than half the quality of cosmic story DnA was able to give us years ago.  Teams like the Annihilators have been discussed on forums for years. Wouldn't it be cool to get all the big cosmic powerhouses together on one team? Usually, the answer was no. No, it would not actually be that cool.
