Anne-Marie's father owned a toy factory. When his nervous breakdown forced him to stay at his castle, he came into contact with Lambik, who was about to inherit a million bucks if he finished in a race. When she heard about the race, Anne-Marie disguised herself as a human-sized cat and forced herself into the race. Ultimately, Lambik won the competition and bought the castle. Pretending to throw Anne-Marie and her father out on the streets, in a surprising twist Lambik gave her the castle if she made it into a care center for weak and sick children. She thanked him by kissing him on the cheeck.
