Anitia blake should be played by Natalie Martinez  she is perfect and remember it is on IFC so it is not
 going to be a huge budget

Someone in this forem stated Anita is a small dark skinned woman. I would like to take this chance to ask them.. What in the name of god are you reading? I have read every book from Guilty Pleasures to Skin Trade, and every comic book. She is not dark skinned. She has mexican heritage, but she is very PALE, her dark hair and eyes are what gives away her mexican heritage.  
Now, In Reply to this discussion. I can not see Eliza playing Anita, she doesn't seem to have the anger that Anita needs to have. I would love to see Angelina Jolie play the part, she has the curves, and the face, and the anger..  but the age is an issue. I agree with alot of people here, an unknown just might be the best idea for Anita. Jean-Claude as well...  And if it wasn't obvious enough heck yeah for Dakota Fanning as Nikolaos! She has finished filming New Moon, and all in all she will not have a HUGE part as Jane (bad vampire from twilight series), so she could easily pull off playing Nikolaos :)   
Dwayne Johnson as Dolph.. I had never thought of it and when I read it , I thought, HOW could I NOT think of that?? He is PERFECT! Plus his acting career is shit so im sure they could get him lol.

I think that Zoey Deschanel would make a great Anita Blake because she's still not a widely known actress, she's talented, and I believe def looks the part

I've read all the books, short stories, and comics. I can't wait to see the movie! I'm posting my dream cast, the cast I picture in my head whenever i read the books. These are the people I beleive could pull off the characters both physically and in performance. When you look at my picks, think about what roles you have seen them in. I listed as many main and supporting characters as I could. I left out most of the villans, except for a few that lasted more then one book. Let me know what y'all think. 
 
Anita Blake: Eliza Dushku  or Corte de pablo  

The movie is based on Gui;ty Pleasures Richard wasn't in the book.  I'm not sure who'd I cast though.

There are some really great opinions in here. I have to say I like Texas_tank's pick for Wicked. But I'm a self proclaimed Ryanite. 
 
Anyway we'll see who they pick. The movie is in production as far as I know. I'm excited. I'm a huge Anita fan as anyone on here can tell you.

Jean Claude possibility ----   Taylor Kitcsh        Dakota Fanning would be perfect
 

I have watched some of Dollhouse I don't think Eliza Dushku is a good actress for Anita Blake anymore

I think for Jean-Claude, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers would be great. Think about it! ;)

 William Sadler in his younger days would have made a great Edward. 

when I first heard that they were making Guilty Pleasures, I asked my husband who would be good as Anita Blake. 
He thought Vanessa Hudgens would be good. We totally agree that Dwayne Johnson and Dakota Fanning would be excellent choices for the respected roles 
Stuart Townsend or David Boreanaz have the brooding vampire thing down thanks to previous roles, but I don't think they would want to be stereo casted that way

Ronnie is a bit player in the entire series, so chances are she'll be somebody different each movie(s).

HECK NO TO BRAD PITT AS EDWARD!!!!!!!! Edward is older than Anita, but not that old. No offense to Mr. Pitt, I just think someone else would be better suited to the rol

jean claude - paul telfer. slim his body down a little bit and he's perfect for what i've always imagined.

edward - devon sawa. he now has a very hardened look to him.  
richard - marc blucas or else jensen ackles.   
anita - this is tough, because a lesser known actress would be best, usually is for role such as this. ginny weirick is very close to how i see anita. but she's also my pick for the patricia briggs main character as well. i've seen on here, natalie martinez, she has beautiful bone structure, she'd be great if she can get pale enough. camilla belle would also be another good choice for anita.
nathaniel - alex pettyfer.
micah - i saw this on another fan site and thought wow. theo theodoridis.  
jason - kellan lutz...but maybe not him just someone that looks like him. lol  
nikolaos - haley bennett.
i really cannot picture anyone else at this moment.

alright well i know i am a little late for this disscusion but i stumbled across is and had to put what i think/believe are the best characters.

this is what i imagined eveyone to kinda look like:

Anita::                   (with dark hair and white skin, her mother was mexican so i imagined her sorta like one of theese)

Jean-Claude::     (darker longer hair, whiter skin, clean shaven)

Asher::    or 

Richard::     

Nathaniel::    (mmmmm. him. he will do just right :) imagin with long auburn hair and lavendar eyes, he is the perfect cross between 

feminine and masculine)   

Micah::    (not alot for micah, this was the best i could find) :(

Ok So I havent done this in awhile. I just was looking up to see if they changed the fact that the movie was cancelled. Anyway. I can't actually disagree with this casting....

SIde note. This is totally fan based. No new on the movie except it was cancelled.... sadly... :(

I always imagined Anita, just like her, paler yes. But short and feisty. If anyone is going to be covered in scars, blood and dirt, wearing a shoulder-holster, and still look super hot. It's gonna be Michelle
