Can animal man get animal powers from beast boy like if gar turns into a bird buddy can fly

They both have the same power source the Red entity so nah.

@trebean: did buddy absorb beast boys full shapeshifting powers or did he just take his connection to the red and does buddy still have beast boys powers or did he lose them. And beast boy is so much cooler red.
