Buddy has gotten alot of crap along the years, and by crap i mean that no one but REAL fans know who he is or care about him. Ill admit i didnt go back an try an find issues of him until after 52 and ive loved the character since then.

Nah, i read up on him awhile ago. When i saw he was getting a series I was like Hell yeah

Yeah his early stuff is REAL cheesy but its also awesome. His bits with BB and Booster Gold are pretty awesome aswell

Buddy Baker= Animal Man is awesome having the power of every animal. He was part of the Justice League Europe and the Justice League of America. I hope he will become a part-time member of the Justice League of America. he has had his comic book series in 1995 and again in Vertigo. He was part of the Forgotten Hero's . He was in Infinite Crisis,52, Countdown to Adventure, Rann and Thangar: Holy War  Justice League of America series helping Vixen. Blackest Night fighting the Black Lanterns.
 
There one thing about Animal Man everyone will know he has not appeared on any DC cartoons animated series like Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Batman:The-Brave and the Bold . I hope one day will see Animal Man on a DC Animated Series.

I never really gave him a chance before new 52 but I really like him in it I like how he can now tap into any animal he wants to now without being next to them the limited shapshifting is cool to. Can any direct me to good pre 52 animal stories or should I just start with issue one

Can animal man copy supermans powers in the new 52 because he's a mammal, animal man just absorbed a aliens powers in issue 26 on the seed planet and in the new 52 all of the animals powers are on tap for him right ?, and buddy is no longer only able to use the powers of animals around him right
