    THE GOOD:
The art in this series matches the tone of the book. There are two artist on this book but Travel Foreman doesn't do too much in this issue. The artist that fills in for him; Steve Pugh, has more definitive lines and does more creative paneling. The story is amazing. I was shocked out of my mind more then once in this issue. Jeff Lemire kept rolling it out and out in this issue and I kept getting worried about these characters. That action in this issue is amazing too. We've seem some action in this series before, but never like this and I'm excited to see where this book it going.

    THE BAD:
    Nothing.

    THE VERDICT: 5/5 (Perfect)
Animal Man is an amazing series. I hardly cared about the character, but this series has put him on the top characters for me and I don't see that changing any time soon. I really like how there is a family involved and I really like the whole concept of this series. I feel that even though you know the hero always wins, there is always something looming over him like he could die on the very next page. A great series and I suggest everyone read this.

Animal Man looks freaky, and the wolves are badass.Steve Pugh is starting to show his own style a bit more in this issue, easing us away from Travel Foreman, who still does the first few pages. I'm definitely really going to miss Foreman, but Pugh's doing a pretty fine job. His first few pages are stellar, with really n...

Let's face it, the last two issues were kind of a slump for Animal Man. Another repetitive dream scene, an interlude for his movie, and a change up in artists kinda made the story drag it's heels for a bit. Thankfully, Issue 8 brings things back to the same high standards the first 5 issues set for this excellent series.Firstly, the transition between Travel Foreman and Steve Pugh's art is much smoother than last issue, and this time around Pugh's pencils are much more effective in capturing the...
