Animal Man » Animal Man #20 - Tights, Part Two released by DC Comics on July 2013.
first off the story line is great there is an ending that makes animal man a normal man instead of a superhero. But most of the story is about the movie buddy baker starred in called red tights which resembles his life in one way or another. Then you have the art by John Paul Leon, it's up there with David Aja and Chris Samnee.
there is not much more to say but that this is the best issue of animal man Jeff Lemire has done.
I have been following Animal Man since the new 52 began. This book was never one of my top reads, or a must read. During rotworld it sat unread on my desk until I had some spare time and caught up at the end of the arc. Now though, well if Lemire keeps it up this will be a top read for sure. The Good: Amazing story. I would pay for an ongoing of Red Thunder, I was so engrossed with that story I was sad it ended. The art is fantastic, the story is amazing.
