I think they've been trying to do something with Warren ever since they gave him his feathered wings back. This is actually okay with me. Better than the regeneration factor he had in his blood which he could use to bring people back from the death and soulsword he took from Exiles Ilyanna while he was dating Husk. Ugh.

Yeah he does. He can still heal with his blood. I like the two sides of Warren though. He has the brutal aggressive killing machine and the calm serene person. Nice touch to his personality. Still, scene where he takes out the fighter jet in Second Coming Chapter 4 was epic.

He doesn't have the healing blood anymore, he lost it when he first transformed into Archangel in X-Force

He still has some control. He is Death, Apocalypse's horseman. In Messiah War I remember seeing him fighting with voices in his head. He's aggressive, but doesn't turn on others and cares about innocent lives. "

Yes, he first transformed into Archangel after his wings were severed in X-Force #4 (Volume 3 and current series). At the end of 'Angels and Demons', in X-Force #6, he reverted to his normal, angelic form. Since then he has been shown to be able to switch between the two at will.
