X-Force #6 (Bloody Variant)

Archangel & X-Force Unite To Defeat The Purifiers!

This is such a good series.  Not much else for me to say.  Kyle and Yost are brilliant.  They should be writing more X-titles.  I love the bloody variants too.

Archangel has returned, the Purifiers have turned on each other…but is this enough for X-Force to defeat their sworn enemies?  X-Force #6, from the acclaimed writing due of Craig Kyle & Chris Yost and artist Clayton Crain, features the epic conclusion to Wolverine’s first mission with his new team. But will everyone survive the x-perience? With the Purifiers using Angel’s stolen wings to equip their army, the war between mutantkind and Bastion’s forces just got a lot more personal!

“I'm excited by the direction of the series and willing to accept Archangel as both the writers and artist have skillfully constructed a violent and disturbing tale worthy of his return.”— ComicsBulletin.com

Marvel urges retailers to check their orders on X-Force #6 and all other X-titles as they continue to sell out at diamond and leave readers on the edge of their seats wanting more and more each time!

X-Force #5 (Second Printing Variant)

Archangel And X-Force #5 Soar To A New Printing

A villain civil war has erupted, a horseman of Apocalypse has returned and everyone’s favorite mutant dark-ops team is struggling to keep the lid on. Marvel is pleased announce that X-Force #5 has sold out at Diamond (although copies may still be available at a retail level). Everyone is clamoring for more Archangel, and to satisfy overwhelming demand Marvel will be going back to print with X-Force #5 Second Printing Variant. This issue will also feature a stunning cover by superstar artist Clayton Crain.

The return of Archangel has everybody talking! Steven Bari of Comicsbulletin.com raves “I'm excited by the direction of the series and willing to accept Archangel as both the writers and artist have skillfully constructed a violent and disturbing tale worthy of his return.

”Bastion has complete control of Stryker and his Purifiers. It’s up to Risman to use his army of Archangel wannabes to take control back from robotic menace. Also, Warren isn’t playing nice anymore and he’s got both Stryker and Risman in his sights. Can the X-Force team of Wolverine, X-23, and Warpath put an end to it all? Find out the answers to these questions and more as X-Force #5 Second Printing Variant hits store shelves!X-FORCE #5 SECOND PRINTING VARIANT (MAY088374)

All I have to say is that's a good look for Emma.  Something about those pants...

As Cyclops and Emma Frost try to save Angel—and the entire city of San Francisco—from something unexplainable, Wolverine, Colossus and Nightcrawler must face Russia’s deadly Red Room! Uncanny X-Men #497, from Eisner-winning scribe Ed Brubaker (Captain America, Daredevil, Criminal) and rising star artist Michael Choi, continues the acclaimed story of a world without X-Men, with the former superheroes attempting to move on after the events of Messiah CompleX. An X-Men: Divided We Stand tie-in, this issue continues the red-hot storyline that has fans and critics alike buzzing!

Steven M. Bari of ComicsBulletin.Com gushed, “Salivate over Mike Choi's art. His work isn't just perfect anatomically and thematically. It's sexy!”

“Ed Brubaker is obviously having a lot of fun with his latest Uncanny X-Men arc. I'm glad to say I am too,” said Jesse Schedeen of IGN.Com.

Retailers, check the Marvel Mailer for special ordering instructions regarding the Uncanny X-Men #497 Djurdjevic Variant by rising star artist Marko Djurdjevic (Thor)!

Marvel urges retailers to check their orders on all X-Men titles, as the Divided We Stand tie-ins continue to sell out at Diamond and generate buzz. As Wolverine, Colossus and Nightcrawler’s road trip takes a turn for the worse…can mutantkind survive without the X-Men? Find out in Uncanny X-Men #497!
