    Chapter Five

After the Fall is the continuation of the Angel television series under the close direction of creator Joss Whedon. With five covers produced for Issue #5, collectors are in hog heaven with the Angel series. It’s too bad that a lot of readers have found the story lacking since it’s debut. Now that a handful of issues are available, it’s actually the best time to give Angel another chance.

Whedon’s stories are often quite confusing at first and always leave audiences wondering what the overall plan is, because it’s never ever a simple plot that is resolved in one issue/episode. The best thing to do is take issues one through five and delve into them in one sitting; it’s a more magical event and definitely gives readers a transformative few moments to experience the gang’s Hell-on-Earth existence in Los Angeles. All of the brand new twists to these characters is what should bring fans into comic shops even if they have never read a comic before. For those that have, there is plenty of familiarity inside the ATF pages because the artistic team is the same as Angel: Shadow Puppets. If you still aren’t ready, IDW will undoubtedly release a trade paperback collection of ATF in due time.
