I used to have that shirt. Actually I still do but it's so faded you can't make anything out.

The thing I love most about The Flash is that while yes it can be dark and serious at times, but at its core it embodies the fun of the comics. Yes, we love seeing our favorite heroes put against these serious odds, having them go through great challenges, but what makes the show so great is seeing them overcome them and be the hero we know they are.

This is something that is shown in both the shows as well as in the lead characters. In Arrow, even after Ollie saves the city and stops the big bad, rarely does he smile and celebrate because he tends to focus on how he could saved more lives, stopped the villain in a better way, or simply focusing on the next mission. Yet, when Barry stops a big bad and saves the city, he smiles and goes and out and celebrates with his friends.

Both characters embody what makes their shows so different, as Flash is the lighter side and Arrow is the darker side.
