    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

The comics world lost one if it’s icons with the recent passing of the great Alex Toth. This special spotlight issue focuses on the spectacular work he did between 1950 & 1960. Featured are rare full-story reprints including Buster Crabbe in “Dark Of The Moon”, from Buster Crabbe #2, and “The Big Catch” ( starring the cast of the “77 Sunset Strip” detective TV series) from Four Color #1066;a profusely-llustrated article on Alex’s work on the Jimmy Wakely series, and an art gallery showcasing much of Toth’s best work on splash pages & covers. In addition, read AC publisher Bill Black’s thoughts on his correspondance with Toth over the years. 48 pages, black & white with color covers; standard comic book size; saddle stitched.
