Ambush Bug
Ambush Bug is a comic book character that first appeared in DC Comics Presents #52
A total nutcase, Ambush Bug wears a teleportation suit and tries to do good in his own altered-view of reality with his "sidekick" Cheeks the Wonder Toy.
Originally created by Keith Giffen as a goofy fun character, Ambush Bug made his first appearance in DC Comics Presents #52. He followed that up with an appearance in DCP #59 and finally as the main guest star along Superman in DCP #81.
His early appearances made Ambush Bug seem almost like a criminal, but he quickly grew to become the goofy, lovable character that always got in Superman's way. His main power is to teleport, which originally was derived from tiny little robotic bugs stored in his antennae. Anywhere there was a bug, he could teleport to. At some point, he altered the technology and no longer needed the bugs. Also, the suit allows limited protection from most attacks.
