things are finally looking up
I must say I haven't seen Spidey books this good since the early days of Ultimate Spider-man. First of all, the art is fantastic and very much like the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon that was sadly cancelled. Speaking of which, it seems like Dan slott's trying to incorporate a lot of the same elements from said cartoon into the books. The fact that Pete's new girlfriend looks exactly like Gwen Stacy and talks like Gwen from the cartoon. A greta thing about this series is that Venom and Osborn are off on the sidelines. Finally, some other Spidey villains are given a chance to shine. All in all, this is a must read for any Spider-man fans who need a good wake-up call from OMD.
