Amanda Waller's friends and family

Waller is the officially in charge of the Suicide Squad. She knows about his secret identity of Bruce Wayne. The Squad's current - government led - direction is heading for a collision course with Batman and the whole JLA.

Beatriz Bonilla da Costa had originally been bequeathed with her powers due to Brazilian mysticism. She was the President of Wayne Enterprises' Brazilian Branch. She has served as a member of the Global Guardians, Checkmate, the Super Buddies, and numerous incarnations of the Justice League, most prominently during the International years.

Harry Stein was a police detective for the New York City Police Department. He was partnered with a junior detective named Gary Washington. Stein later became a knight for the government agency known as Checkmate.

Amanda "The Wall" Waller has run the covert team Suicide Squad with an iron fist and a formidable personality. Her first recruit was Rick Flag, who became field commander in the second incarnation of the team.

Formerly a juvenile delinquent, Terry McGinnis stole a prototype Batman suit to aid him in avenging his father's death. He quickly proved himself worthy of the mantle, and now works with Bruce Wayne.
