Almost wrote a fan fic about this
Cyclops + Robin (Original) = Red Robin
Wonder Girl (Originol) + Jean Grey = Wonder Girl (but different)
Beast + Kid Flash (Originol) = (Jaguar)
Speedy (Originol) + Angel = Eros
Iceman + Aqualad (Originol) = Ice Lad
They were brought together when Red Robin the sidekick of Batman and Eros the sidekick of Hawkeye (Oliver Queen) had a Brave and the Bold Moment and along the way rescued mutant Ice Lad and mutate Jaguar from persecution, also being joined by Wonder Girl the only known mutant amazonian and sidekick/ fan/ stalker of Wonder Woman. They were called back to Gotham when professor Charles Pennyworth a powerful psychic who do to a debt had been pretending to be nothing more than the Wayne family's butler for years now contacts Red Robin and informs him that Batman has been captured by newly arisen terrorist Magneto to prove that any mutant is stronger than the peak of humanity. After defeating Magneto the team would go on to handle numerous threats such as
Bane Marko (Juggernaut/Bane)
Black Rose (Black Tom Cassidy/Poison Ivy )
The Sinister Jester (Joker/Mr/. Sinister)
among many others
The second group of Mutants fuses
Cyborg + Colossus, Star Fire + Sun Fire, but after that point I can't remember if I did Raven + Nightcrawler or Raven + Storm, or if I did Beast Boy + Nightcrawler or Beast Boy + Thunderbird
