A cross-publisher event of a series of titles put out by both Marvel Comics and DC Comics under the name Amalgam Comics, it blended elements from the two publishers' catalogs.
If they did they would need better everything: -Better origins -Better character amalgams -Better art -And how 'bout presenting the new amalgam universe like it has always been there?
They'd need to take it back to square one and make all new amalgams some worked out fine concept wise like the cap/supes mix but others seemed completely random such as iron lantern I think it would've made more sense to mix nova and green lantern Iron man would've meshed much better with booster gold or blue beetle in my opinion
@Aronmorales: the origins were fine, the art was fine and most of the amalgams were fine. I only totally agree with your last statement because that is something that WOULD need in order to come back
i like the whole concept of amalgam characters. it's basically a big what if. i never read any of the amalgam, though i would like amalgam to be brought back.
oh yes amalgam should come back. but they would have to step their game up. the fusions need to be worked on (not changed but more characters that are better than things like assasins, boy I hated that comic and wish I didn't spend my hard earned money on it) , more characters need to visit other stories like in marvel and dc and they would have to make it seem like they have been here forever but do away with that meta-fictional crap

That comic had Doc Ock, Curt Connors, General Ross... combined with Uncle Ben... UGH!) and no "Doctor Doomsday trying to take over both multiverses"... that X-Patrol comic sucked IMO.
