I was thinking recently about characters who never had and Amalgam counterpart, or even one mentioned in passing, and while I was able to think of partners for most characters that came to my mind, for varying reasons from similar personalities, fighting abilities, or relationships to other teams and characters...

...one that I couldn't think of a match for was marvel's resident vampire hunter, Blade. So I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for who could possibly be his amalgam partner, with only three things in mind, they have to have something in common (personality, similar connections to the characters that make up another amalgam character, profession, names, etc.), they can't be amalgamed to another Marvel character, and if possible (though this is optional) they have to have existed by 1996. So any idea?
