My favorite moment in the 12-issue maxiseries is in Issue #11 when Superman is fighting Solaris and the Sun-Eater returns to sacrifice itself to help Superman and weaken Solaris. It was just so touching to me, and so sad when the Sun-Eater died.

I just watched the movie, and I'm not sure if it was the same as the comics, but I liked the part where Supes lifted 200 quintillion tons with one hand. I also liked the end with Luthor in the cell. I can't do spoiler tags, so I'll just leave it out.

The 200 quintillion tons part is in it and I thought that was pretty awesome. It's one of the first feats i saw a scan of when I started researching on super feats. As for Luthor in the cell there are a few issues dedicated to that alone though I forget whether it happens as well in the end or not. You should try and give the comic a read :)

When Lex Luthor began to slowly lose his mind as his powers degraded, and the resulting punch in the jaw. Actually, any of the Luthor scenes would be appropriate.
