Favorite Moment(s) from All-Star Superman

My favorite moment in the 12-issue maxiseries is in Issue #11 when Superman is fighting Solaris and the Sun-Eater returns to sacrifice itself to help Superman and weaken Solaris. It was just so touching to me, and so sad when the Sun-Eater died.

What's your favorite moment from Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's mythological epic?

You seem like a troll. ಠ_ಠ

@cyberninja: I seem like a troll because of a suggestion? You don't seem like a troll because of your condescending (grammatically incorrect instruction to "run long") or your acronym profane inquiry. #considerthesource. and for the record I mistakenly clicked your reply button instead of the author of the thread, but your reaction, priceless. lol

@Or35ti: This should be in the superman forum

Great scene... I love that one too

@ithinkitwasyou: How do I move it without losing all the existing comments?

#10 Posted by ithinkitwasyou (749 posts) - - Show Bio

@Or35ti: Ask a moderator they'll move it for you. Also the thread will get a lot more attention there being that all the superman Stans will definitely comment more.

I just watched the movie, and I'm not sure if it was the same as the comics, but I liked the part where Supes lifted 200 quintillion tons with one hand. I also liked the end with Luthor in the cell. I can't do spoiler tags, so I'll just leave it out.

The 200 quintillion tons part is in it and I thought that was pretty awesome. It's one of the first feats i saw a scan of when I started researching on super feats. As for Luthor in the cell there are a few issues dedicated to that alone though I forget whether it happens as well in the end or not. You should try and give the comic a read :)

I was coming into this thread to post that image. So now I don't have to.

@Supreme Marvel: That was an awesome scene with the arm-wrestling :)

When Lex Luthor began to slowly lose his mind as his powers degraded, and the resulting punch in the jaw. Actually, any of the Luthor scenes would be appropriate.
