Seriously, I'm doing nothing but repeat myself over and over. This series has an awesome premise and it knows what it's doing.
One thing that amazes me is how this story was a one issue story that was still entertaining. I usually hate single issue stories. But really, to keep up with the whole Silver Age vibe, they're necessary. And they work perfectly.
To pay homage to the millions of stories where something ridiculous happens to Jimmy. In this case he takes over Dr. Spectrum's laboratory for a day. Ok, now I know his name, he's Leo Quintum. And he's on business interacting with the light based inhabitants of a distant planet.
Anyway, Quintum's crew uncovers Black Kryptonite in the Underverse (the undersection of the universe that builds up the natural physics of the universe or something like that). Guess who gets exposed to it. Only Jimmy can save the day, and it's hilarious how he accomplishes it.
I love this book. I might just end up repeating that for each issue. If I've got nothing new to say, I'll just do a number rating instead of a normal review for the next one.
