In this issue Superman brings a confused and disbelieving Lois Lane to the Fortress Of Solitude to give her the grand tour, and confess ... everything. This time around is no different than issue # 1, the story is very well written, even though Grant Morrison made Superman more aloof than the last issue.
A strange way to go considering he brought Lois Lane to the Fortress Of Solitude to make a stronger connection to her. For the first time, I actually feel the alien side of Superman. I wonder how much of this is by design? Or am I seeing the first signs of a flaw in the cloth. A small flaw mind you. Not one that would destract from the quality of the series.

Wait, I thought the Fortress of Solitude was made of giant crystals and stuff? In this it's basically the Batcave. Ah, whatever.
After finally revealing his secret identity to Lois, ol Supes shows her the Supercave (c'mon, that's what it is, basically. It even has a giant penny with the Joker on it. Sure, Batman's giant penny just has Lincoln on it, but really, why does Superman have one? And with the Joker on it of all people?) Anyway, Superman shows off his robot butlers, his laboratory, his pet cosmic sun eater monster, and even has dinner with her in a rebuilt Titanic.
Al this is nice and all, but Lois still can't believe that after all these years, Clark Kent was the Man of Steel. Clark Kent, the bumbling oaf who can't even make two steps without falling over or running into someone. And even worse, Lois starts to ponder terrible scenarios as to why he took her there. Even thinking that the heavy sun radiation could have messed with his mind and that he's planning on using her for a horrific experiment!
I'm stopping right there. I don't want to spoil anything. The ending of the issue is kinda cool. I liked this issue.
