    I'm the Goddamn LUNATIC!!

    That was it? That was literally 2 plot points, 3 if you count the continuation from issue 6. Miller, can you really not make more of a plot, I mean besides reusing the same dialogue over and over again. It literally took 7 issues to find out who payed Jocko-Boy, this could have been done with a lot more simplicity and deliberation, but no, we need constant monologues about how awesome Batman-oh I'm sorry- the GODDAMN BATMAN is. And why is it so hard to focus on Batman and Robin in a comic about Batman and Robin? This is like a reverse JLA: Act of God, in that story there was too much focus on Batman, not enough of the JLA, and here it's too much focus on the JLA, not enough about Batman! This is not a hard story to write, and hell, Jeph Loeb did it in Dark Victory.

      Once again this series hits a homer (for me at least) I cant wait for more-The gritty batman is what I love, the S+M attraction between BC and Bat's is reminisant of Sin city- The story dosent give U much-the series is extreamly drawn out, but this combination of LEE and Miller is a blessing. Batman clearly master of his domain gives the criminal element a thrashing, not saving but only turing on Black Canary-just as young Dick Grayson discovers his "night wings" down in the batcave-then faced w...
