Just look at it like an Elseworld 0
Frank Miller's writing leaves a little to be desired...okay a lot...what happened to the scribe who gave us Batman: Year One and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Those were good, kick ass books. Now we a series that is all messed up and weird and says the same thing over and over again...god damn this and god damn that...it is like ten to fifteen times.The art is what saves this book and is worth the money and reading the hypocricy of Batman. Jim Lee should be on a mainstream Batman book again. ...

A++++ 0
Once again this series hits a homer (for me at least) I cant wait for more-The gritty batman is what I love, the S+M attraction between BC and Bat's is reminisant of Sin city- The story dosent give U much-the series is extreamly drawn out, but this combination of LEE and Miller is a blessing. That was it? That was literally 2 plot points, 3 if you count the continuation from issue 6. Miller, can you really not make more of a plot, I mean besides reusing the same dialogue over and over again. It literally took 7 issues to find out who payed Jocko-Boy, this could have been done with a lot more simplicity and deliberation, but no, we need constant monologues about how awesome Batman-oh I'm sorry- the GODDAMN BATMAN is. And why is it so hard to focus on Batman and Robin in a comic about...
