All Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder #4

"What You Say Junior? Is This Cool Or What?" - Batman. Frank and Jim continue on the amazing story of how Batman recruits a 12-year-old boy onto his war on crime! The excitement in this issue is above normal, and the action fits in just right with the story for issue 4. Frank continues to show the Dark Knight's true colors, as Batman revels more to young Dick Grayson. Frank must have also decided to finally make Batman and Dick arrive at the Batcave! This is a good and dark series, and hopefully it will always stay great!

The Good

Batman has finally arrived at the Batcave! Two issues ago he was still driving, flying, and boating to his cave. This is terrific because, Batman should have already arrived at this one location. What is also good is that the arrival to the cave wasn't carried over to another issue. Sure the arrival shouldn't have been an instant, however it could have been done in issue 3. Jim Lee continues to draw the insane Dark Knight with really good skill and care. The story and artwork go right together, it is good to have a writer and an artist that are both willing to make a great story. Sure there is a lot of writers and artist who draw and make a story, however there should be a team-up, where the artist and the writer create a story that won't be forgotten. The Batcave was drawn really great, with a lot of gadgets, armor, and vehicles. All batcaves should be drawn with the excellent care. 
 

The Bad

The arrival to the batcave should of happened last issue. Since there was nothing really going on in issue 3, the Batman could have arrived at his cave in issue 3. There wasn't much action in this comic like the first three issues. Hopefully, issue 4 will have action.
 

The Verdict

The Arrival At The Cave is all that is needed to know! Since that "epic" event, now we can know that things are going to start picking up. And Remember, no one likes a long epic journey to the Batcave! Overall this is a 4 out of 5.
