Too Much Filler... But Still Killer 0

Overview: So the story picks up the morning after last issue and the original team has decided to stay in their bleak future, but will they like what they come to find about their future selves and the world they are now living in? Spoilers... Actually, never mind. I'm not entirely sure yet seeing as how this issue didn't progress the story that much. But are fun panels and an interesting ending enough to make this issue worth reading? Actual spoiler... yes!The Good: While reading this comic, I ...

    What happened? 1

What happened here? This series has been a swift kick to the groin and then this issue comes and trips over it`s own feet. Granted, it was still a good issue with a couple of good moments (Young Cyclops` encounter with Wolverine) but it didn't have near the punch we've seen of late. It is a slow issue, with not much going on due to some story development, which happens but usually Bendis can keep you entertained even during the slow moments. Not here. Also, the moment I've been waiting for happe...

    Blast From The Past 0

If you read one X-Men book, it should be this one.The original X-Men have decided to stay in the future in order to finish what they were asked to do. This issue could be mistaken as a filler, but it really isn't. It shows us how Jean, Scott, and Warren are adapting to "life in the future".Jean is having trouble controlling her telekinesis. She hears everyones thoughts. Which actually turned out to be pretty funny. That sequence takes place over 5 panels. Each panel someone is asking where Angel...

    Young Cyclops Flees 0

This has been a fabulous series, and although I've been disappointed a couple of times it has still been brilliant, and the Marvel NOW! series I look forward to reading the most each month.PlotThis issue sees the younger Cyclops run away from the school and Wolverine has to go after him. Kitty Pryde also helps Jean Grey cope with he recently found telepathic powers.ReviewThis was a brilliant issue and one of my favourites in the series so far. Brian Michael Bendis has been doing an excellent job...

    All-New X-Men #6 0

The original X-Men are more trouble than they are worth. Can the original X-Men really help the present ones change Cyclops' ways? Creative team Brian Bendis, David Marquez, and Marte Gracia are here to answer that question. The GoodThe All-New X-men is an exciting book. One of the advantages that makes X-Books, like this one, successful is that the writers do not spend every issue referencing past events to try and catch up new readers. Though it is also one of the disadvantages, All-New X-Men i...

Dreams, Motorcycles and Flying with Angels 0

So the original X-Men are going to stay a little longer than Beast (present-going-throught-his-third-not-so-well-explained- mutation-Hank) anticipated. The reason? Trying to turn Scott Summers (former heroe, new self proclaimed leader of a new school without much explanation either of his plans or alliegence current present Cyclops) from his current path and again back to the side of the "good boys", although this is quite a complex, ambiguous, vague and with shades of grey concept. But firsts t...
