Uncanny X-men... Y U SPOIL BENDIS' BOOK?!?!
*Minor spoilers in the review. Read at your own risk**
OMG! Did that really freaking happen?! I can't believe it!... Nah, just kidding. I'm not gonna reveal who joined present Cyclops' team since some of you may not yet know, but did Bendis actually think it was such a big surprise? I mean, we had already seen who that was in Uncanny X-men. And I hate the way Bendis writes Jean. She suddenly thinks she can boss around and, whenever she doesn't get what she wants, she obligates people to do as she wills with her recently acquired telepathy. I was actually cheering for the triplets during the small fight there was between The Revolution Team and the X-men, who... Well, you'll know what happens if you read the issue.
Now, I've probably never before in my life seen such a slow paced story. Bendis has been writing the same thing for eleven goddamn issues. The quality of the book has, for sure, been decreasing over time. The plot is getting boring and I honestly can't wait until Bendis moves on to a new story arc.
*Warning: The spoilers are in the TWO following paragraphs*
By the end, we get an unsurprising cliffhanger. Guess what; it's the Avengers again. Well, the Uncanny Avengers to be specific, so I guess it should be a little more fun, since a few of the team's members are mutants. But really, how many times have we seen the Avengers before in this title? Not that much, but enough at least for now. And the worst part is, the X-men and the World's Mightiest Heroes are probably not even going to fight in issue #12. From what we've seen so far, I wouldn't be surprised if the entired issue featured both teams talking to each other, trying to explain what the hell is going.
My favorite part of the issue is probably the one featuring Mystique. We see Pepper Potts and I first wondered what in the world she was doing there. As I kept looking at the panels, I finally realized what was happening. So, although the issue wasn't perfect, it had its moments.

I never thought I'd actually say this, but I don't want Stuart Immonen in the title anymore. Yes, say what you will. I'm crazy. But don't get me wrong, his art is stunning. It's not bad at all, but after experiencing David Marquez's pencilling in the book, I've to admit that it's actually better. In my opinion at least.
Overall, All-New X-men #11 is a bit of a disappointment. The pacing has been extremely slow and that, needless to say is making the book fairly boring. Hopefully we'll get some more progress on the title soon.
