"THE TUNNEL THAT COULDN'T BE FINISHED" (Dr. Mid-Nite) the people of an isolated mountain town are getting sick because they can't afford to pay the shipping cost for good food. a tunnel that would drastically cut the cost is in the works but keeps being sabotaged by the head of the trucking company.
4. "THE PRINTER AND THE DUKE" (Black Pirate) it is Justin Valor's birthday and he wants a printing press so they go to a well know printer to have one made but find he has been imprisoned for printing unfavorable things about the duke. just after learning this they find the duke blatantly robbing one of his subjects and musing that it would be fun to cut his throat. after freeing the printer they fight the duke's men and in the end, the printer is named the new ruler of the town.
