It's a question, I've been wondering... He's been with Bruce most of his life, and he has to have some life of his own, right? Dick and Tim get girls like it's nothing, but what about poor Alfred? Does he have kids or even grand kids?

I don't believe so.

But do you think he might? He's been in the comics, what 60 years?

No. He's been an actor and a MI6 secretary, but I have never seen him romantically involved with someone.

They haven't mentioned it in the comics from my knowledge but I think it might be a good story arch at some point. 
 
The only thing the have shown to be close to a romance was with Leslie Thompkins.

I am sure he has some illegitimate children from acting days, other than that I am not sure I have ever heard anything.

He was also in the SAS and a mercenary, and if you consider batman beyond canon he goes to England for his son's wedding I think and never returns. or something like that.

He had a very interesting life prior to being a butler, for all we know he's got an illegitimate kid on every continent, sure he may not have been in many relationships after Bruce became Batman doesn't mean he didn't have his fair share before taking on the world's most intense domestic service role

Nightwing: Alfred's Return. Alfred is tricked by an old flame (who dumped him at the alter) into believing that her heavily indebted son was in fact Alfred's son. After the young man died, she was forced to confess that it was a lie in order to gain Alfred's help.

In his younger years, Alfred was subject to the same rampant hormones that all young men experience. There's plenty of room for previous romantic entanglements & the occasional Wild Oat that was sewn in previous decades.

Pre-Crisis he did have a daughter. Julia Pennyworth however she was wiped out following Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Now she is back.
