    Major Story Arcs

    Hunting Season

    Alex Gregson was with his father, Robert Gregson, at the mall buying sneakers when something happened, and Robert started melting people with an alien weapon. Wolverine, happened to be at the mall and attempted to stop Robert, but he kept getting melted to the bone and regenerating back.

    When Robert, turned and was prepared to melt Alex, his own son, Wolverine was able to get the upper hand and killed the man in front of his son. Then the police showed up and Wolverine took control of the situation, using his Avenger status to take custody of Alex.

    When everything seemed calm and back to normal, Alex started talking strange, grabbed the ray gun and started blasting cops. Alex seemed to be mind controlled and ran away and when he was healed Wolverine gave chase.

    Soon Wolverine learned that Alex was under alien mind control and made a deal with them to release the boy and he would back down, for now. Wolverine was able to take Alex to safety, but Alex's last memory was of Wolverine killing his father at the mall.

    Alex was last seen with his mother morning the seemingly meaningless death of Robert.
