    Akira Terashima is a sophomore at the North Kokura High School (北小倉高校, Kita Kokura-kōkō) and a member of the North Kokura High beach volleyball team.

    Akira Terashima (寺島 アキラ, Terashima Akira) is a supporting character of The Beach Stars manga series created by Masahiro Morio. It originally began publication in Shogakukan's Shūkan Young Sunday magazine No. 14, 2007.

    Her first appearance was in The Beach Stars Volume 1 CH.6 "For Tomorrow!".

    Twister Blade

    Akira Terashima's signature move is a trick serve called Twister Blade (ツイスターブレード). Though it appears to be a direct strike off the serve. The spin put on the ball gives is a drastic and sudden 90 degree turn that makes it to unpredictable.
