When Akhenaten received the power, he was supposed to use it to recruit others for the Celestials. Instead, he went forth to destroy all of the gods and heroes of earth. It was Thanos who took responsibility and stole the Heart of the Universe, and extremely powerful artifact, and went back in time to stop Akhenaten from ever receiving the power. The power was instead given to Doctor Doom. Without his power, Akhenaten died of natural causes later in his life.

History

Akhenaten was a pharoh until an alien ship came and took him away from earth for thousands of years. Atleza senses that there is a shifting balance of power. Also Jean Grey and Xavier start to get information from a pharoh named Akhenaten. Thor who is in place of Odin here's the first warning from Akhenaten. Telling him that he is going to rul Asgard and he cant do anything about it or perish. Thor feels that this power can even kill himself. Silver Surfer if flying through space when he come up to a space wreckage. He talks to Guardian a member of the Shiar guard. And he tells him that a being of power went straight through them, destroying everything in its path. The Avengers and Reed also find strong energy heading straight for earth. The X-Men gather up in the mansion. Jean and Xavier tries to contact the being and make contact. He tells them that he is going to take over earth and they have a choice to join him or die. He already knows they will fight him so he sends a beam of energy destroying the mansion. Everyone thinks its a mutant hate crime. But Dr.Doom knows its something from outer space. A pyriamad comes from out of the sky and lands in Eygpt. All the states and countries powers are teleported to this pyriamd. Akhenaten tells them that he rules them and they answer only to him. He then cures cancer from all arounf the world to show them the things they will recieve if they listen to him without question. He then teleports them back. Dr.Doom being Latveria's president he was there to and he let a small camera smaller than a pea follow Akhenaten. The Avengers and the Fantastic Four meet up to try to find out how to kill Akhenaten. He teleports in there and tell them listen to him or die. The Thing punches him with no result. He thens makes all of them vanish. Thanos gathers a group to fight Akhenaten. Dr. Strange, The Hulk, Namor, Marvel and Silver Surfer. Daredevil and Spider-Man is on a building while Spider-Man tells Daredevil about all the Avengers and the Fantastic four being in crossess dead along buildings in the city. thor and zues meets up and talks about getting a group together to fight Akhenaten. While this is happening Lord Chaos and Master Order is asking Eternity and Infinity what is happening. They tell them they dont know.

Thanos talks to his group about taking the power which Akhenaten gets his power from. Thor and Zues meets up with the other gods of different religions. Akhentaten then kills all the gods that were grouping together. Doctor Doom continues to spy on Akhentaten and figures out he has a room with a group of time travellers frozen in amber like substance.

Thanos and the Defneders travell in space to the source of Akhenatens power. While Doom is about to go in his time machine. The world leaders congregate and figure out all weapons just vanished atomic bombs to firearms. And all military personel and even policeman find themselves at home. Akhenaten tells them that the world doesnt need weapons when its under his rule. He made a group which would fight crime and the good guys (super heroes). Doom makes it to the past and sees Akhenaten about to be taken, he aims his gun and it is blown apart by Akhenaten of the future. Thanos and the defenders go to a satellite where the power source of Akhenatens power is held. Zues and Thor are alive, Zues teleported them just in time to Infinity and Eternity. They ask for their help but are told that Infinity and Eternity is blind and cannot help. They say since this being has come they cannot see anything only the know and here. Eternity tells them that it is the end of the universe. Thanos and the defenders find the Heart of the Universe, the source of Akhenaten's powers. hulk sees a robot and smashes it. Then a cosmic being comes out and the defenders fight it.

Thanos and the defenders are then attacked by multiple of these cosmic beings. They attack but not for long. Namor is burned to bones while Dr. Strange then is blown apart. Thanos thens jumps into the Heart of the Universe. The cosmic beings teleport away. The Heart of the Universe exploded and killed Silver Surfer, Hulk and Marvel. Thanos then goes to the past as Akhenaten blows Doom's gun up. He takes Akhenaten somewhere and defeats him, but doesnt kill him he lets Doom do that. Somewhere in the past celestial beings are the ones who would become powerfull adn give Akhenaten his power. But somehow their engins blew up and killed all of them (Thanos). So all the things that happened after Akhenaten's return never occured.

Thanos is now Omnipotent, Omniescience, and Omnipresence.

Powers

Akhenaten, while empowered, had cosmic power that far surpassed that of Odin, the Elders of the Universe, and many other cosmically superpowered beings. Akhenaten manipulated his cosmic abilities to utilize any effect he could think of.
