Company Overview

AiT/Planet Lar was started in the mid 80s by Larry Young and Mimi Rosenheim as a way to publish the kinds of stories they wanted to read. Young is the creative side of the operation while Rosenheim concentrates more  on the business aspects. The company currently focuses on original graphic novels with occasional forays into monthly series, depending on the demands of the story. Their corporate manifesto is: "Intelligent but not High-Brow, Boisterous but not Obnoxious, Intimate but not Cloying, Humorous but not Slapstick, Unconventional but not Obtuse."
