Harold "Hal" Jordan, son of the first Air Wave, was named after his cousin Hal Jordan who is one of the legendary green lantern of sector 2814. Edit

When Hals mother was placed in a institution due to her age, young Hal went to live with his cousins Jack and Jan Jordan. After he inherited his father's equipment, he became the second Air Wave. He trained with Green Lantern, Green Arrow, and also Black Canary. He was recruited by Suicide Squad associate Simon LeGrieve to join his task force on Meta-Human studies called the Captains of Industry. After joining the team, Jordan changed his super hero name to Maser. When he was kidnapped by the villain Catalyst, the villain turned him over to the terrorist Kobra. But the kidnapping was in vain, as Maser was saved by the JSA. He now has returned to his namesake, along with his costume and fathers equipment serving as a reserve member of the JSA.

Powers

The helmet he inherited from his late father allows Air Wave to change his molecular sructure. He can transform into living energy as to travel along radio and telivision waves. He can also fly at super speed.
