Pick of the week! (a little late)

There's been a giant void in Vertigo for me since Y:TLM ended. And, let's face it, that's a huge void to fill... Y:TLM, without a doubt, was the best series of this generation. Now, you may be thinking, "Does Air replace that void?" Hell no. It's not the best first issue I've ever read, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Air has a unique look on the overwelming and over-ridiculousness that is this countries views on terrorism and airplane security. It's not  over-the-top, poking fun of the American way of life book. More of a look from the outside showing how stupid we all can be from time-to-time. Your basic story is there, mysterious man meets girl, seeds for relationship planted. That's interesting and all, but the subtext of the story is really what made me make it the pick of the week. I'm very interested to see where this book goes next month.
